ONLINE HELP & SUPPORT
Support
User instructions
On this page you can find general instructions on how to deploy the service. You can find more detailed instructions in EMMi’s online help.
When you decide to purchase EMMi, you and your company will be assigned a project manager to help you deploy the service. The deployment process typically consists of the following steps:
- service specification
- visual design
- establishment of the service
- configuration of the service in cooperation with your assigned project manager
- training on how to use the system
- launch/deployment.
Our specialist will help you configure the service for you. If necessary, the project manager can suggest good practices, and the service can be reconfigured at any time to suit your needs. We will train your organisation’s administrators on how to use the service’s administrator tools, and EMMi’s administrator support is available to administrators on weekdays in English and Finnish.

Account registration form
The service includes an account registration form by default. The registration settings offer multiple options for automatically granting specific access rights to newly created user accounts or subjecting new accounts to approval by a system administrator. You will be provided with a personal username and password that you can use to log in to the service on all modern web browsers – including mobile devices.
Where do I register and log in?
You will receive the URLs needed to register and log in when you purchase the service.
User interface
The service can be accessed via the latest versions of the most common web browsers on both computers and mobile devices. The user interface has multilingual support. EMMi’s directory folders can be edited with a content editor, which makes it possible to create instructional text content for the service’s folder views, for example. The digital assets stored in the service can be viewed in either a grid or list view. Assets can also be sorted based on their metadata (such as name, file extension, file size, last edited and status).
Account registration and login
User accounts can be created with different access rights.
